Ameland To Ameland Plan uw vlucht het liefst via één van de twee corridors over de Waddenzee. Zet de transponder op 7000* met mode C (in Amsterdam FIR verplicht boven 1200' MSL)  Neem contact op met Ameland Radio (118.35 MHz.) minimaal 5 NM voor het bereiken van de kust van het eiland. Voeg in het circuit zoals opgedragen. Meldt u op downwind (of baseleg) en final. Plan your flight preferably via one of the two corridors over the Wetlands. Select your transponder at 7000* with mode C (in Amsterdam FIR mandatory above 1200' MSL)             Contact Ameland Radio (118.35 MHz.) minimum 5 NM before reaching the coastline of the island. Join the circuit as instructed. Report downwind (or baseleg) and final.

Waddenzee Wetlands Verplichte minimum vlieghoogte is 1500 ft. MSL. boven de gehele Waddenzee. Slechts indien er op of hoger dan 1500 ft geen VFR condities aanwezig zijn geldend voor luchtruimklasse 'E', mag u uitsluitend in een corridor lager vliegen dan 1500 ft. Nergens anders boven de Waddenzee! De laagste vlieghoogte in een corridor is dan 1000 ft. MSL. Minimum flight altitude over the entire Wetlands area is 1500 ft. MSL. Only if at or above 1500 ft. the weather is below VMC for airspace class 'E', only then you are allowed to fly lower and only in a corridor. No elsewhere over the Wetlands! The minimum flight altitude in the corridor is 1000 ft. MSL. Preferente invoeginstructies Prefered joining instructions  09  Vanuit het westen: - Volg de NW-kustlijn - Meld u 'Noord van Hollum' (1,5 NM west van veld) - Na passeren van Hollum draai rechtsaf direct naar een LINKER-hand baseleg - Meld baseleg en final - Na de landing verlaat u de baan naar rechts naar de parallel taxibaan Bravo.  09 From the west: - Follow the NW-coastline - Report yourself 'North abeam Hollum' (1,5 NM west of the field) - When passing abeam Hollum, make a right turn direct to LEFT-hand baseleg - Report baseleg and final - After landing vacate to the right onto the parallel taxyway Bravo  27  Vanuit het westen: - Volg de NW-kustlijn - Meld u 'Noord van Hollum' (1,5 NM west van veld) - Vlieg direct op downwind koers (700 ft) - Meld downwind en final - Na de landing verlaat u de baan naar links naar de parallel taxibaan Bravo.  27  From the west: - Follow the NW-coastline - Report yourself 'North abeam Hollum' (1,5 NM west of the field) - Continue direct on a downwind heading (700 ft) - Report downwind and final - After landing vacate to the left onto the parallel taxyway Bravo  09 Vanuit het oosten: - Volg de Noordzee-kustlijn - Meld u '2 NM east' (van het veld) - Vlieg direct op downwind koers (700 ft) - Meld downwind en final - Na de landing verlaat u de baan naar rechts naar de parallel taxibaan Bravo.  09 From the east: - Follow the Northsea-coastline - Report yourself '2 NM east' (from the field) - Continue direct on a downwind heading (700 ft) - Report downwind and final - After landing vacate to the right onto the parallel taxyway Bravo  27  Vanuit het oosten: - Volg de Noordzee-kustlijn - Meld u '2 NM east' ( van het veld) - Draai op 0,5 NM van het veld linksaf direct naar een RECHTER-hand baseleg - Meld baseleg en final - Na de landing verlaat u de baan naar links naar de parallel taxibaan Bravo.  27  From the east: - Follow the Northsea-coastline - Report yourself '2 NM east' (from the field) - At 0,5 NM from the field turn left to a direct RIGHT-hand baseleg - Report baseleg and final - After landing vacate to the left onto the parallel taxyway Bravo

Doen: Do's: - Houd radio contact met Ameland Radio binnen 4 NM van het veld - Bel uw vluchtgegevens door naar de toren - Maintain radiocontact with Ameland Radio within 4 NM from the field. - Forward your flightdetails by phone to the tower. Niet doen: Dont's: - Lager vliegen dan 1500 ft over de Waddenzee - Lager vliegen dan 1000 ft over het eiland - Vanaf de vuurtoren straight-in vliegen naar 09 - Na de start van 27 direct naar de vuurtoren vliegen - Flying lower than 1500 ft over the Wetlands - Flying lower than 1000 ft over the island - Flying straight-in from the lighthouse to 09 - After departing from 27 flying straight to the lighthouse
